Integral Program of Liberal Arts

Body

The Integral Program of Liberal Arts offers an integrated curriculum of seminars, tutorials, and laboratories centered on the classical liberal arts.

Conversations amongst friends over the great books - from Homer, Plato, and Aristotle to Dante, Austen, and Tolstoy - inspire us to think deeply and live authentically.

Our graduates gain the thinking ability, self-discipline, and leadership skills needed to pursue careers and graduate degrees in many fields. We will prepare you for a life well-lived.

The Integral Great Books Program

There are no textbooks. You will read primary texts from the traditions that have shaped our world, ask your own questions, and work out your own thoughts in a supportive environment. Faculty mentors question, coach, challenge, and encourage students’ wonder. A cohort model of community fosters learning and friendships. Lasallian core principles are reflected in our curriculum and honored in our community.
